Michał Otręba – I paint out of passion and as a way to share what fascinates me. In my works, I do not seek photorealism but rather emotions and substance – hence the bold lines, decisive colors, and the play of light achieved through the application of composition gold (schlagmetall).

I develop my skills as a member of the Sielecka Group, which allows me to continuously refine my craft. I am interested in contrast – on one hand, I value classical painting and Polish landscapes; on the other, I am intrigued by technology. My passion for history and numismatics has taught me to pay close attention to details, which I strive to transfer onto the canvas even when using broad brushstrokes. Several of my works have already found buyers, which is the best sign that what I do also resonates with others.
