ABOUT THE ARTWORK

“Malbork Castle” is an original interpretation of monumental architecture, inspired by the atmosphere of vintage postcards. The work focuses on the raw beauty of Gothic walls, which, through the watercolor dry brush method, have gained exceptional precision and almost graphic clarity of form.

The painting is characterized by a distinct, geometric style – with strongly defined contours and the rhythm of red buildings typical of the Malbork complex. At the base of the composition, a water surface is visible, emphasizing the dignity and historical character of the castle.
